All-Boston Concert Raises Over $20,000 for Artsakh |

(A.W.)—An all-Boston concert entitled “United with Artsakh,” which took place on April 29 at the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center (ACEC) of Watertown and featured a number of artists and musicians from the Greater Boston community, raised over $20,000 for various medical and humanitarian needs following the large-scale aggression by Azerbaijani forces on Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabagh Republic/NKR) forces and civilian population.
The performers included the Arev Armenian Folk Ensemble, the John Berberian Quartet, Hamazkayin Erebouni Dance Ensemble (Arman Mnatsakanyan, Artistic Director), Zankagner Performing Arts Ensemble (Hasmik Konjoyan, Artistic Director), Meghedi Vocal Group (Marine Margarian, Artistic Director), the Maroukhian Duo, Datev Gevorkian, Gegham Margarian, Markos Shabazian, Zori Babroudi, Shahn Nercessian, Sevag Khatchadourian, and Jasmine Atabekyan accompanied by her children. The event’s Masters of Ceremonies were Ani Khatchadourian and George Barmakian, while organizing committee members offered opening and closing remarks. ![]() At the event, it was announced that 100 percent of the funds collected through the benefit concert would be donated directly to the NKR Ministry of Finance to support fellow Armenians in need.
