Dear Friends,
I have nominated Backyard Tree Nurseries project (Armenia) on American Express Members Project contest, which awards $2.5 million to be shared by 5 winning projects. This is a superb opportunity to boost an incredible program started and carried out since 2003 by Armenia Tree Project organization (
www.armeniatree.org). All you need to do is nominate the project online which should take less than 2 minutes of your time and spread the word about it in your circles. As of August 10, 2008 there are 381 projects submitted in the contest and Backyard Tree Nurseries project is holding 73d position with 49 nominations. To put it in perspective, top 25th current project has 156 nominations, so our goal is to break through ~200 nominations mark this coming week and keep getting regular nominations through Sept 1 when Top 25 most nominated projects will be left for next round of the contest, which is voting for Top 5 winning projects).
When our project makes it to Top 25, I will follow up with instructions for voting in the second round or you can just visit the same page referenced below after Sept. 9, 2008 and follow instructions for voting it into Top 5 winning projects.
Please do your best to spread the word to as many people as you can to nominate our project before Sept 1 deadline. If you have any questions I will be more than happy to clarify any details of the project – thank you very much for your time and consideration!

Sincerely,
Karina Demurchyan
