Jesus heals the sick at the pool
A little later, Jesus went to the feast of the Jews in Jerusalem.
2 In Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, surrounded by five covered colonnades.
3 There were many disabled, blind, lame and paralyzed. They expected the movement of water.
4 Sometimes the angel of the Lord went down and stirred the water, and then the first who entered the pool, to heal any disease.
5 Among them was a man, the patient is already 38 years old.
6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had long been in this state, he asked him: - You want to get better?
7 The patient replied: - Sir, yes because there is no one to help me enter into the water when the water boils. When I try to get myself to the water, someone is already ahead of me.
8 Then Jesus said to him: - Stand up! Take your mat and go.
9 And the man at the same moment became healthy. He picked up his mat and poshel.Eto happened on Saturday.
10 Jews therefore said to Healing: - Today is Saturday, and you can not bear the mat.
1911 But he said: - He who healed me, and he told me: "Take your mat and walk.
12 They asked: - Who is this, whoever told you to take the mat and walk?
13 healed knew not who it was, because Jesus disappeared in the crowd that was there.
14 Later Jesus found him in the temple and said: - Well, now you are healthy. Sin no more, lest you even worse.
15 The man then went and told the Jews that it was Jesus.
