Real World Technologies Deliver Unreal Performance Gran Turismo and Red Bull present the ultimate race car

Finally Red Bull Company is happy to officially disclose the secret - the integration of our athletes Sébastien Loeb and Sebastian Vettel, as well as star designer Adrian Newey and Red Bull's architectural master-piece, Hangar-7, into the ultimate driving simulator for SONY's Playstation III: Gran Turismo 5.

Of course there have already been rumours about our involvement, but now everything should be chrystal clear: our brand is amazingly integrated in the game with the Red Bull X1 S. Vettel car, manufactured by Gran Turismo and designed by Red Bull's aerodynamics expert, Adrian Newey together with Kazunori Yamauchi the GT series' father, who could realise any designer's ultimate dream: creating a car without any technical boundaries or regulations...

While Adrian Newey provided the design, Sebastian Vettel was performing the shakedown test and settings for this Gran Turismo car. The Red Bull X1's homebase is Hangar-7, which is fully integrated in the game. Every gamer can access the building, choose the Hangar-7 as his "private garage", storing all kind of cars in this iconic location. Another feature of the game is "Photomode", where you can take images of your car in Hangar-7 and share it online with other gamers, put it on social media platforms,...etc.

Pls be aware that there are two different X1 cars in the game: the Red Bull X1 Prototype (carbon black, monochrome bulls + sun), which is the "test car" so that gamers can get used to the car's unbelievable performance. After the gamer has passed specific tests, he get the Red Bull X1 S. Vettel with full branding and exactly reflecting our CI in Motorsports (dark blue, full logo). For communications purposes we recommend to focus on the "fully branded version", which is the Red Bull X1 S. Vettel (see attached images as reference).
