Òàê óæ ïîëó÷àåòñÿ, ÷òî íà ñåãîäíÿøíèé äåíü ñàìûå äåðçêèå íàïðàâëåíèÿ ìîäû íàõîäÿò ñâîå âûðàæåíèå íà ÿïîíñêèõ óëèöàõ.

Íàïðèìåð, âîò ýòîò ñòðàííûé ñòèëü â ìîëîäåæíîé ìîäå ßïîíèè ïîëó÷èë ñâîå íàçâàíèå îò îäíîãî èç ðàéîíîâ Òîêèî, ãäå îí çàðîäèëñÿ – Harajuku.

Ñóùåñòâóåò ìíîãî ñòèëåé, êîòîðûõ ïðèäåðæèâàþòñÿ Õàðàäæóêó: Ãîòè÷åñêàÿ Ëîëèòà (Ãîòëîëè), Êîãàë, Äåêîðà, Ìîäà ñýêîíä-õýíä, Âàìîíî, Êèáåð-ìîäà, Ãàíãóðî. Îäíèì èç ñàìûõ ïîïóëÿðíûõ ñòèëåé ÿâëÿåòñÿ Ãîòè÷åñêàÿ Ëîëèòà - ìèêñ íåâèííîãî ñòèëÿ êëàññè÷åñêîé Ëîëèòû è ãîòè÷åñêèõ àêñåññóàðîâ. Âòîðîé ïî ïîïóëÿðíîñòè ñòèëü - êîñïëåé (îò àíãë. costumed play – êîñòþìèðîâàííàÿ èãðà). ßïîíñêàÿ ìîëîäåæü ïîäðàæàåò ñâîèì ëþáèìûì ãåðîÿì èç ìàíãà, àíèìå, âèäåî-èãð è ìóçûêàëüíûì êóìèðàì.
