Post Armenian Museum of America Now a ‘Pok?stop’

The Armenian Museum of America is taking advantage of its new status as a “Pok?stop” to invite Pok?mon Go players through its doors.

Every Thursday, starting on July 21, the museum will be hosting #Luresday Thursday.

Every Thursday, starting on July 21, the museum will be hosting #Luresday Thursday. By dropping a lure in the game on the museum, Pok?mon will be easily found outside and inside the galleries.

Pok?mon trainers will be welcomed inside with a discounted admission rate, as well as the opportunity to complete a Pok?-themed scavenger hunt through the museum.

This Thursday, the first 10 players to complete the hunt will earn an Armenian Museum Pok?badge, and the first person to find the four rarest Pok?mon hidden throughout the museum will earn a special prize.

The hunt will be changed every week, and the museum is excited to help trainers “Catch ‘Em All” at the museum on Thursdays.

To learn more about the scavenger hunt, or the museum’s role in Pok?mon Go, contact the museum program manager, Anna Kaczmarek, by calling (617) 926-2562.

Pok?mon Go is a free-to-play location-based augmented reality mobile game developed by Niantic and published by the Pok?mon Company. It was released in July 2016 for iOS and Android devices.
