Post Latin American Parliament Recognizes Armenian Genocide

On Fri., July 31, the Latin American Parliament passed a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

The Ecuadorian delegation played a major role in the recognition, and included Maria Augusta Calle, deputy; Liliana Fellner, senator of Argentina; Alfredo Asti, Uruguayan Parliament deputy; Edgar Mej?a Aguilar, deputy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia; and Mexican Senator Blanca Alcal?, the president of the Latin American Parliament,.

The Latin American Parliament is a regional, permanent organization comprised of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
