their actions would be the destruction, in whole or in part, of the Armenians of eastern Anatolia,
as such, or acted purposefully towards this goal and, therefore, possessed the requisite genocidal
intent. The Events can thus be said to include all the elements of the crime of genocide as defined
in the Convention.

Двухтомник «Геноцид армянского народа в Османской империи» выдвинут на соискание Нобелевской премии

Научный труд армянского историка доктора исторических наук, профессора Айка Казаряна уже зарегистрирован Нобелевским комитетом под номером 181, а сам профессор Казарян получил приглашение посетить в октябре Стокгольм.

Как передает HAYINFO со ссылкой на сообщение «Новости-Армения», двухтомник переведен на турецкий, русский и ряд европейских языков.

Геноцид армян 1915 года считается первым геноцидом XX века, организованным и планомерно осуществленным младотурецким правительством, в результате которого в Западной Армении, входящей в состав Османской империи, было вырезано более полутора миллиона армян.

Факт Геноцида армян признан многими странами, в частности, Уругваем, Литвой,Россией, Францией, нижней палатой парламента Италии, большинством штатов США. Парламентами Греции, Кипра, Аргентины, Бельгии, Уэльса, Национальным Советом Швейцарии, Палатой общин парламента Канады и сеймом Польши.
