Зоя Баграмян стала первой обладательницей двойного гражданства – Армении и США. Паспорт гражданина Армении был вручен Баграмян в Генконсульстве Армении в Лос-Анджелесе генеральным консулом РА в Калифорнии Григором Ованнисяном, пишет Asbarez.com.

Зоя Баграмян родилась в Азербайджане, который покинула в 1989 году после армянских погромов. Сначала она уехала в Москву, а затем в 1996 году в США, где получила американское гражданство.

Закон РА о двойном гражданстве принят 6 марта 2007 года.
