Открыл эту группу для себя совсем недавно,
напоровшись вот на ЭТОТ их "клип" если его так можно назвать...
Ну и собсвенно просто запал на эту группу,
Сразу начал шарить по тунету в поисках альбома этой группы..
Оказалось, что она совершенно неизветсна в Росси!
вот.. хочу ВАС познакомить с группой "The kooks"!! =))

Из иностранных источников:
Группа The Kooks родом из английского города Брайтон, получившая своё название от песни Дэвида Боуи,
пишет великолепные и истинно британские поп-песни. На своём первом совместном концерте участники
квартета исполнили кавер композиции Reptilia команды The Strokes. С тех пор они прошли довольно
долгий путь, стали любимцами музыкальной прессы и записали в свой актив впечатляющие выступления
на разогреве у The Thrills и The Subways. Ворвавшись на большую сцену в прошлом году с синглом Eddie’s
Gun, The Kooks продолжили набирать обороты с новыми хитами Sofa Song и You Don’t Love Me. А
дебютный альбом Inside In/Inside Out только подкрепил ажиотаж вокруг этой команды и оказался до
краев наполнен положительной энергетикой. Возьмите такие великие поп-группы, как The Beach Boys,
The Beatles и The Kinks в их самом мелодичном и незамысловатом проявлении, добавьте немного рэгги в
стиле Police и вы, по крайней мере, наполовину представите себе, что такое Inside In/Inside Out. Конечно,
материал этого альбома ни в коей мере нельзя назвать сложным или бросающим вызов, ведь это просто
14 коротких песен, написанных за пока ещё не очень продолжительное время существования группы и
излучающих молодость, энергию и харизму, которые чудесным образом поделены на лаконичные и
предельно понятные музыкальные отрезки.

В альбом вошли замечательные рок-песни, украшенные хитовыми поп-мелодиями

открывает пластинку краткий акустический номер Seaside, демонстрирующий хрупкую натуру вокалиста
Люка Притчарда. Затем появляется взрывная песня See The World с её крикливыми гитарами и блестящей
энергетикой, после чего следует нежная композиция Sofa Song. Это отличный поп-сингл с хорошим
юмором, что можно сказать и о песне с эффектным названием Jackie Big Tits. Дебютный сингл Eddie’s Gun,
выпущенный прошлым летом, – это причудливая песня в стиле рок, в то время как самый свежий релиз
You Don’t Love Me оказался грохочущим трэком, больше склоняющимся к панку. Оптимистичная и
солнечная Ooh La is – это ещё одна акустическая композиция с удивительным припевом или даже
сериями из нескольких припевов. Беззаботная акустическая песенка She Moves In Her Own Way
оказалась не менее заразительной, чем лучшие хиты групп The Coral и The Zutons. Излучая уверенность
и демонстрируя стремление группы экспериментировать со своей музыкой, на альбоме периодически
появляются элементы ска, например, в песнях Matchbox и Time Awaits. В последней Причард предстает в
образе уличного соул-певца, путешествующего по южным американским штатам, а затем он и его
товарищи разражаются масштабным и почти психоделическим проигрышем. Но на этом хиты не
заканчиваются – песня I Want You Back рисует более меланхоличную и мрачную сторону группы.
Используя задушевное звучание фортепиано, она превращается в мощный и эмоциональный трэк, один
из самых впечатляющих и удачных на альбоме.

самыми разными музыкальными жанрами (пронизанной солнцем поп-музыкой, рок-н-роллом, который, как
водится, мертв, бритпопом 90-х годов, головокружительным ска и в некоторых песнях даже неким
подобием эмо), The Kooks уже успели отбросить всё лишнее и найти своё собственное звучание. После
первого прослушивания альбома Inside In/Inside Out становится немного грустно от осознания того факта,
что на протяжении нескольких последних лет нелоботомированной части земного населения явно не
хватало настоящего веселья. Inside In/Inside Out – это эксцентричная и до безумия нелогичная сборная
солянка из разных идей, которая поможет этой группе завоевать себе имя. Альбом в равной степени
интересен и абсурден. Это великолепная дебютная работа, которая уверенно балансирует между
